    Weight loss liver cancer

    Hi my husband has NASH for 9 years and now has primary liver cancer . he had liver ablation two weeks ago. He developed jaundice post op my question is about weight loss he has lost 40 lbs but is eating good meals. Does anyone have advice on what he should eat so he doesn't lose more

    Hi

    Any food with a high calorie count would work. Chocolate has huge amounts of calories and is good for you to boot.

    I take your husbands appetite is good as you mention he is eating good meals. If I read that wrong and your husbands appetite is affected the doctor has medications that can help increase it and help your husband keep the weight on.

    Weight loss is an issue in Pancreatic cancer...I would suggest you go over to our Pancreatic Cancer forum and have a look at what the good people there suggest for weight loss. Hopefully one of the members there see this thread and respond for you.
