Hi Gene, Dana-Farber does use an Ultra Sensitive psa test - but only captures anything > .04. They have stated that there are a number of things that can produce up to 0.04. Johns Hopkins looks for anything >0.1 as evidence of biochemical recurrence. If you can get an ultra sensitive , why not get it? You and your doctors will interpret it properly. I think you would want to know if your psa was >0.05 and trending towards 0.1. Steve
