    CEA level

My dad is Stage IV pancreatic cancer. On December 27th his CEA Tumor Marker was 1130 before his first round of folfirinox. On Jan 11th his CEA was 408. I know these numbers are still high...but, the decrease is positive?

Unless he just quit smoking, I'd take it as a good sign. We don't use CEA markers very often, it is usually CA19-9 blood test results.

He was never a smoker. Found numbers on his patient portal but haven't spoken with Dr, yet. Thought it sounded better.

I didnít think CEA got this high, it rarely exceeds 40 I thought even with multiple cancers. Maybe this is really CA, which can get very high.
