Grade 2 Oligodendroglioma and PCV treatments -What can I expect?

I have just finished radiation and now I am starting PCV chemo. So far I am just tired but this is cycle 1 of 6. How are others doing with PCV treatments? Should I expect to feel progressively worse as I go through more cycles?

Hi Olschool, welcome. Most of the folks with Oligodendroglioma 2 don't tend to drop in as often as the folks with GBM, but hopefully one or two of them will and will get back to you.

My outsider's understanding is that the Vincristine, which is the harshest drug in the regimen, can get worse with repeated doses but that this varies with the individual.

I was diagnosed in 2012 with an Oligo and did a year regimen of Temador. I did not have radiation. I am very unfamiliar with the PCV. Hopefully another Oligo surviver will have more info on PVC. I wish the best for you.
