He's still bleeding internally and they said it's too dangerous for them to go back in. My head is spinning 😟

Thanks everyone! So update: they took an ultrasound and it shows that the bleeding has kind of subsided. It's not rapidly filling up the lung as they expected since they actually drain 2 liters. (I thought it was one liter)

I gotta admit I was scared hearing that because the doc said that it was the equivalent of four blood transfusions... and my dad declines blood due to religious reasons. So now they just want him to try an build up his red blood cells. They are very low. Hopefully it will build up within a week or two. God is good. 🙌🙏🙏

    HI Sasha,
It sounds as though your DAD has had a rough time of it; but hopefully he is on the mend now. Fluid on/in the lungs can be difficult to overcome even with the doctors help. And, even if he is JW, talk to him about getting everything he needs, regardless of what it is!!
Best wishes to you and your Dad!!

Hey everyone well everything has been good with my dad. He has a chemo treatment coming up and so far he is doing well. The Chemo has been helping alot and hes recovered well.

As for me, I was in the hospital for a few days due to pneumonia and fluid in my chest. It was so odd because I had no cough but I did have a fever of 104 for about 3 days. No one knows what could have cause it. Ill be going to my doctor tomorrow for a followup.

How did I catch pneumonia but never caught chickenpox growing up?
