My friend Zim is correct. Zim is good, Zim is wise.

He has some great ideas there. I thoroughly agree with getting other friends and family to help. Teamwork is the key to care giving. Do not feel bad about asking for help. It is good for everyone, your dad sees others and sees you taking care of yourself, you get a break and support from others, and others feel they can contribute.

Trust me - caregiver burn out really sucks. So stop and ask for help before you get there. A caregiver can't care for themselves let alone anyone else if they crash.

Zim I think you wife is awesome! LOL!

    Thanks Zim and Jorola!
I wasn't able to go out on saturday because family came over at the last minute and my sisters didn't provide any relief so yea lol. But Im gonna try and see if my sisters can atleast have him for the weekends so I can have a break.

Oh and this is like a random question for caregivers. What products do you use to clean with? Ive kinda feel behind with cleaning my home and its just so unlike me but I don't know what I can use since literally everything has some type of smell. Im use to bleaching my apartment twice a week, cause my floors are white and then i usually spray my home with a diluted solution of Odoban. Ive tried the whole vinegar thing and that scent bothers him a lot.

If theres nothing that can disinfect without a scent I guess i will have to wait until when my sisters take him to bleach down my apartment and air it out for a day.

Try this as a general cleaner.

    hydrogen peroxide.

I know that you will say; "Whattt?"

But it works, cleans and disinfects all in one shot. Use right out of the bottle. It fizzes a little.
Let it sit and then wipe. No need to rinse.
Wally World sells a big brown bottle. Transfer to a spray bottle and use sparingly.

I'm sorry that you didn't get to "howl" on Saturday night. Insist on a new date for some "me" time.
    regards,
    zim

Awesome idea to have your sisters help out. Not just weekends but see if there is anything they can assist with.

As for cleaning my thoughts went to vinegar but i see that did not work either. I get you like things clean (LOL wanna come to my house) but why not just use a little dish soap that has antibacterial in it?

I guess I just got use to cleaning that way because I live in an apartment complex and it just so happens that my apartment is next to the garbage room area on my floor ill definitely try the peroxide and dish soap. Thanks!

Ok so now he's refusing to drink or eat anything. He's barely eaten much in 2 weeks and now he's not even drinking water. His next immunotherapy treatment is on the 29th. Im stressed out
