Help me to help me ? 💜

Hello out there 😊New to this , my hope is for feedback , suggestion and possible guidance . I am a 42 year old woman whom is a few years into my Pituritary Tumour with complications journey . Surgery is not possible it having bled and other health stuff. It is growing and as a result I am adrenal insufficient , Thyroid has stopped working without meds , heart at permanent low blood pressure , no growth hormone and eyesight under threat. My medical team work brilliantly to bring my levels to normal best they can and I work to be free of pain and look after myself . However there is a part of this that I am finding overwhelming is my sensitivity. To loud noise , bright lights and the like but also I find myself more emotionally sensitive to moods , music , people , life and my loved ones . Once upset it's like a chemical plummet happens , overriding all logic I can not stop it. The highs and lows of this can be extreme . I practice mindfulness and other tools yet I feel this is worsening . With quick plummet in mood I physically feel ill with it . Any ideas of what is happening please ? Any solutions that are not mind or mood altering in themselves ? Marie

Hi Marie, welcome. I'm sorry to hear about your pituitary gland tumor. As you probably know, this tumor usually has fewer complications than what you're experiencing. Probably for this reason, we almost never see anyone with this tumor on the forum, so unfortunately we don't know much about it.

It sounds like you're happy with your medical team, but that they haven't been able to get your symptoms under control. Is there any other specialist that they can recommend for you to see?

It looks like you're in the UK. Are you familiar with this website? https://www.pituitary.org.uk/informa...ary-condition/
They have a helpline number near the top, perhaps they could recommend a neurosurgeon who could re-assess the possibility of surgery?
