Biopsy DXd adenocarcinoma in 3/20 cores (one 5%, two 20%). T2C.

Surgeon was Dr. Matthew Tollefson, who I highly recommend.
Final pathology shows tumor confined to prostate.
5 lymph nodes, seminal vesicules, extraprostatic soft tissue all negative.
1.0 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm mass involving right posterior inferior, right posterior apex & left
mid posterior prostate. Right posterior apex margin involved by tumor over 0.2 cm length,
    doctor says this is insignificant.
Prostate 98 grams, tumor 2 grams.
Catheter out in 7 days. No incontinence, minor dripping for a few weeks.
    Seven annual post-op exams 2012 through 2018: PSA <0.1

NOTE: ED caused by BPH, not the surgery.

Here's one I picked up in France as a lad. Though not in a bar.

One night during the French-Algerian war a guy walks into a bar in Paris and asks the bartender:

    "Bahrtendair: two marteenees."

Off the barkeep's puzzled look he adds:
"One eez fohr mei bruzzair. He eez in Algeria..."

The bartender bows his head with respect, makes the martinis and serves them with a reverential nod of his head. Down they go.

This continues nightly for several weeks until one night the guy comes in and announces:

    "Bahrtendair. Oo-ONE marteenee!"

The bartender looks stricken. With shaking hands he prepares the drink and, trembling, lays it down on the bar. He asks:
    "M'sieur... yeuhr bruzzair....in Algeria...?

"O, he eez fine. Ah am on ze wagon!"

    A not-dissimilar Jewish mother joke.

A Jewish mother gives her 35-yr-old, live at home son two ties for his birthday, one blue, one brown. The son comes down for breakfast the next morning wearing the blue tie proudly.

"What's the matter -- you didn't like the brown one !?"

Recalled from the book "How to Be a Jewish Mother" (I think that's the title) that we had around the house when I was a kid. Roughly...

For a JM, nothing is so bad that it can't be made worse:

Boy: "Mama, mama... the bad boys stole my hat!"
Mama: "You're lucky they also didn't cut your throat!"

And likewise, nothing is so good that it can't be made bad:

Boy: "Mama, mama... I won a Chevrolet at the Temple raffle!"
Mama: "Oy gevalt.... the insurance payments alone are gonna put us in the poorhouse!"

Two non-Jewish and one Jewish mother are bragging about their son's affection.

The first says "My son bought me a lovely necklace. I know he thinks about me often."

The second says "My son sent me on a wonderful cruise for Mother's Day. He's so fond of me!

The Jewish mom: "Ha! Well, my son goes to the most expensive psychiatrist in the city. Seven hundred dollars an hour he charges! And who does my son talk about the whole hour? ME!"
