Stage IIIB (5 Years NED)

Hello,
This August 2019 will make 5 years clear for stage IIIB for sigmoid colon. Had 6 months of chemo and usually do CT scans every 4 months. My platelets have still not recovered to normal levels, but doctors said not to work it. Would love to hear from others.

i went NED for 5 years with a hot spot on the anastomoses site (docs said no concern) for 5 years and then Ohh dear me it’s back and so it was.
The test is in my signature.
Must admit though scans very 4 months, really !, Why if I may ask.

Are or is there something your docs are concerned about as every 4 months seems drastic to me.

I didn’t have any chemo, but what platelets are you referring to that have never recovered.
Im sure others will chime in with their comments.
All I would say is 5 years and NED.
