2 biopsies and still no diagnosis

I went to the ER after shortness of breath after my work shift. They took xrays, ended up admitting me to the hospital because of masses in my lungs. I disclosed I was diagnosed and treated for stage 3 endometrial cancer 3 years prior. I was told by the treating physicians that it was gone. The ER doctor told me that it was cancer, and set me up for further tests. I had a brochoscopy which sent me back to the hospital after complications from the tumor being biopsied. The results were inconclusive due to necrotic tissue. So a ct guided needle biopsy was scheduled and completed. The same results inconclusive. I dont know what to do. I fear doing a 3rd biopsy will result in the same results and still no treatment. Does anyone have any advice?

    Sounds familiar,
Exactly the same schedule for myself, CT scan, CT guided biopsy then bronchoscopy plus a surgical wedge section.
Results negative for LC, necrotic tissue.

They even had me scheduled and I quote
”Radiotherapy at Guildford, Chemo etc etc.
So convinced were they that after I suggested waiting a further 90 days and another CT scan
the reply was “90 days. May be too late and all we be able to offer then is palliative care”.
All the trauma, pain and then they disappear into the woods, never to be seen or heard of again.
Not much help I admit, yet it shows medicine isn’t a exact science and despite all the doom and gloom, doctors can make suggestive errors.
    certainly in my case.
    Good luck and please.
